Going into this month of April there was no school Friday, April 7 or Monday, April 10.

“The district and the board understand that it might be a weekend that people are with families and are trying to accommodate schedules, “ administrator Ashley Turner said. “Obviously that wouldn’t be for everybody unfortunately, but our district does appreciate our community’s wide variety of religious celebrations.” 

With the four day break, some students were looking forward to it. 

“I feel like Mondays and Fridays are the worst, but best days of the week. “junior Taloach Chuol said.” But I also feel like this weekend will also be wonderful because of the break.”

On Tuesday, April 11 school schedules will resume as normal.
