Last week the girls golf team finished second place at the Kearney Invite. 

On Aug. 28 the team of five finished with a final score of 308. 

“I think my teammates and I did well at the Kearney Invite.” Sophomore Alysen Sander said. “The course wasn’t super hard to play because we’ve all played there before and we had a great mindset going into the tournament. I’m disappointed in how I finished the tournament by getting a bogey on the last four holes. As a team we are focusing on finishing strong.” 

The girls so far have worked hard to play well in all of their tournaments and have remained focused. The girls plan on continuing this mindset as they continue on with their season. 

The girls will once again be in action at the Girls JV Invitational at Papillion-La Vista on Wednesday, Sep. 9, 2020.
