Need something to do over spring break? Well Netflix has your back. Go ahead and stay inside and binge watch some of your soon-to-be favorite series. Here are a few shows that will have you hooked in no time!
Stranger Things
This show was Netflix’s smash hit in the summer. This series follows the disappearance of a young boy in small-town Indiana in 1983, and leads to the discovery of a telekinetic tween, a shadowy conspiracy, and a blood crazed monster. It’s very easy to get pulled into the show and watch all eight episodes of the first season in just one day. Stranger Things, which premiered in July on Netflix, has been one of the streaming service’s most buzzed-about and best-reviewed original series.
Hush
Imagine being trapped in your own home, being tormented by your worst nightmare. This horror movie is full of excitement and surprises, always wondering what will happen next. The movie is set in the middle of the woods where a deaf-mute writer lives, isolating herself from people. She finds herself being tormented by a masked killer in the middle of the night. The entire night is a game of trying to defeat the killer and survive. There’s a reason Hush movie ratings on Netflix have it at 4.5 out of 5 stars.
Grey’s Anatomy
Almost everyone is talking about what’s happening on this popular show. It’s basically turning everyone into surgeons. It will show you everything you need to know about the medical world and give you the power to become a doctor just by watching it. This show is a medical drama about a group of surgeons working at Seattle Grace Hospital. It is focused on Meredith Grey’s life and all the drama that happens at the hospital. This series consists of 13 seasons.
Vampire Diaries
Once you start watching this show there’s no going back. It will pull you in with its charming characters and spicy relationships along the way. This series is set in Mystic Falls, Virginia, a town filled with supernatural history since its settlement of migrants from New England in the late 19th century. It follows the life of a teenage girl who has just lost both parents in a car accident. She has a complicated relationship with two vampire brothers. They try to live a normal teenage life, but run into many problems along the way.
One Tree Hill
“Live the life, live the dream, no fear,” said by actor Quentin Fields. One of the many heartfelt quotes that are found in this show. It’s set in Tree Hill, North Carolina, and follows the lives of two half-brothers who compete for positions on their high school’s basketball team, and the drama that comes along with their romances. One Tree Hill is Warner Brothers latest effort to emulate the success of its popular 90’s teenage show Dawson’s Creek and it does a very good job overall.
Fuller House
This series is a sequel of the 90’s sitcom series, Full House. All the humor and quirky characters are still kept from the original Full House. It picks up from where Full House dropped off and all the kids are adults now. Two sisters and their best friend all move in together, where they share special moments raising their kids together and taking on life’s surprises. You definitely don’t want to miss out on the return of Full House.

It focuses on a group of friends when they graduate and begin their lives in the adult world. Some attend college, while others begin exploring beyond post-secondary education.
