Hiya! My name is McKenna DeRiese and this is my 2nd year writing for The Hawk. I absolutely love being on the Mass Media staff for many reasons, but my favorite part is definitely being able to listen and write the stories of our students. I think our school has so many unique aspects and it’s an honor to write about what is happening all around us. Outside of writing and editing for The Hawk, I love listening to true crime podcasts and watching Hannah Montana while running on the treadmill.
