There will be a college visit from the United States Coast Guard Academy on Nov. 22 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Counseling Center.

At the visit, students will be able to ask questions and hear from students from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy. They can learn about what the Coast Guard Academy offers and what attending will entail.

“We’ve had several academies, like the Naval Academy, come and speak to students,” school counselor Tim Ernst said. “This time, we have the Coast Guard Academy which is good for students who are interested in serving and learning more about it. They get to hear first hand from someone who is going through the academy so they know what to expect.”

All students are welcome to attend the visit.

“I am excited to go to the visit,” sophomore SammE Whitt said. “I’m interested in the Air Force so learning about other branches will be a good experience.”

This is the final college visit of the school year.
