The tickets for the Southwest Homecoming dance will go on sale starting Monday, Oct. 2. in the upper D-wing hallway after school. Students can also purchase tickets before and after school Tuesday and Wednesday, Oct. 3 and 4, as well as during lunches on those days. The final day to purchase tickets will be Thursday, Oct. 5, before school and during lunch.
Tickets are $12 and can only be purchased with cash or check. All student fines and fees must be paid before students can purchase a ticket. Tickets are required for entry into the dance. It’s necessary to purchase tickets as soon as possible, as the attendance of the dance includes a large amount of the student body.
“It’s important to get your Homecoming tickets early, lines can build up toward the end of the week,” senior varsity cheer member Hannah Stille said. “The turnout is usually pretty big. There’s usually a lot of people there.”
For those bringing outside guests, there is no longer an outside guest form. An alternative form must be completed to be admitted to the dance. The form was emailed to all students Sept. 22.
The Homecoming dance will be held Friday, Oct. 6 from 8 p.m.-11 p.m. The theme for Homecoming is “Friday Nights Frights.”
