“The word of the week is resilience,” coach Kevin Schrad said. ”Being able to bounce back from personal mistakes and overcome adversity. Get better everyday.”
The word of the week provided the students with confidence and gave them something to focus on.
“It shows if you put in hard work then you’ll get out of what you are doing in the run,” sophomore Olivia Myers. “I think the word of the week is very helpful for people.”
Their next meet was on Tuesday, April 2, at LSW.
