The Conference Championship games came to a close last weekend. The Patriots beat the Chiefs, 37-31, and the Rams beat the Saints, 20-14.

That means the Rams will face the Patriots in Atlanta for the Super Bowl on Sunday, Feb. 3 at 5:30 p.m. The game will be played on CBS.

“I don’t watch that much football, but [I’d probably pick] the Patriots,” freshman Joseph Dorn said. “I think they are probably more popular with people, and they might have more people there.”

Some people based their decision off of the differences between the two teams.

“I’d like to see the Rams win, just because they haven’t won since the early 2000’s,” Ms. Lis Brenden said. “They have some really good young guys on the offensive side. I just think their offense is a little more efficient, and they’re a little more explosive.”

While Brenden believes the Rams have the offensive edge, others just don’t think they can beat the Patriots.

“As much as I want the Rams, I’m going to say Patriots,” sophomore Jacob Bossard said. “Because they’re just going to.”

The Patriots are favored over the Rams by 2.5 points.
