The Lincoln Southwest publication, “The Hawk”  is now published in print and available for pickup. 

The magazine, the first issue in the 19th edition, was produced by the mass media class during the second term of the year. The 27 page booklet features stories from sophomore, junior, and senior student journalists and is the first magazine to be put into print since the Spring 2020 special edition. 

“It was really fun building the pages and to see what everyone else was writing,” junior editor Emely Chairez said. “I am excited for people to read it after all of the hard work and time spent editing stories and layouts over the term.”

Copies of the magazine will be available in the main office, media center, and in the C110 classroom. 

“I hope that whoever reads the magazine gets something out of it,” senior editor John Roth said. “There’s something for everyone in our publication and we worked so hard to put it together for everyone to read.”
The next edition of “The Hawk” will be made during the fourth term of this year.
