“I really want to step up and be a leader, try to get as many rebounds as I can,” Frager said. “I feel like stepping up and being the bigger guy and a leader will have a really big impact on this team.”
Mid-way through the season, Frager has 174 total points in total and 71 rebounds, His 3pt percentage is 30 percent and his a free throw percentage is 78 percent.
According to an interview with Nebraska basketball head coach Fred Hoiberg by 10/11 News on Signing Day, he is excited to have Frager on the team because of his commitment.
“He’s one of the most athletic kids I’ve seen in that entire class,” Hoiberg said. “He goes up and finishes above the rim with authority.”
Frager is also a 3 star recruit and is ranked 176th nationally.
“He’s a kid that is really working and improving his shots. He was a 42 percent 3-point shooter a year ago, and you can tell the amount of time that he is putting in,” Hoiberg said to 10/11. “His focus right now is to help LSW compete for a championship, then we will try to get him here next summer.”
Frager was also recruited to play for the Iowa Hawkeyes, Iowa State Cyclones, Northwestern Wildcats and Creighton Bluejays.
“I really like Hoiberg, he really trusts me and I really trust him,” Frager said. “There is really no other place to play better than Nebraska.”
