LSW College Signing Day was on Wednesday, Feb. 7, at 8:30 a.m. in the auditorium. Seven seniors with athletic scholarships signed their college acceptance papers alongside their families. 

“I am in the gym 10 times a week, so I train hard every day because that is what it takes,” senior Nathan Collins said. “When Briar Cliff reached out to me, it meant a lot. They did their research on me and you could tell that they found their guy.”

Before each student signed their letter, their respective coach had the opportunity to share their favorite memories of that student. 

“Hearing my coach talk about me was definitely a full circle moment because I think Coach Traynowicz is a very good coach so it’s cool to hear his praises,” senior Tristin Skelton said. “It was nerve-wracking having to sit up there in front of everybody, but it was a very cool experience.”
