Student Council (StuCo) has received submissions for the Senior Class of 2024 t-shirt. Seniors could vote for their favorite design in the Class of 2024 Google Classroom through Wednesday, Sept. 13, at 7 a.m.
“Senior shirts are important because they include everyone,” StuCo member senior Lucy Carey said. “Everyone has the option to get a shirt so it makes all the seniors feel like a part of something.”
There were eight submissions to choose from. Designs were accepted Aug. 31 – Sept. 5 and created by various Southwest seniors. The design with the most votes will be chosen on Thursday, Sept. 14.
“Senior t-shirts are important because they give us something to remember our senior year by, creating a good memory for us to look back on,” StuCo member senior Kyzz Acucena said. “Every year we do shirts that are basic and green, my shirt has a pop of color. I’m a senior this year so I just wanted something different.”
The design that is chosen will be available for students to purchase later in the year. They will do this via a website set up by StuCo. There will be an announcement when the website is up and the students can begin to purchase their shirts.
