“I know a lot of people in the show that are having a good time and are excited about it,” junior Claire Timperley said. “I hope our set for, ‘How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying,’ is as good as the past ones, because they have been phenomenal.”
The show is set in the 1960’s and it is about a young man who wants to succeed in business without having to put in effort. He is successful and not successful in many ways as he rises up in the corporate world.
“This is a show that has been on all of our radars for a long time,” McKee said. “We like to pick shows that have a lot of tap, and this show has a lot of tap.”
Tickets cost $15 for adults and $10 for students and alumni. There will also be a fee when checking out.
“Everyone should come to the show to see the huge amount of talent that Southwest has,” McKee said. “I think it’s a good idea to get in here and support the kids that are doing it, and to see stellar theater in Lincoln, Nebraska.”
