On Tuesday, Aug. 29, after school from 2:15 – 3:00 p.m, Improv Club held their first meeting in the black box (E107). Improv Club meets every Tuesday during PLC time to learn and teach new improv techniques.
“The meetings are about having fun and improving your skills,” junior Melanie Wiggins said. “We all get along really well and I enjoy the people in the group.”
Improv Club is open to everyone, but to be on the improv team, the Silverware, an audition process is required.
“The improv team is such a welcoming team and I definitely recommend people join it,” junior Matthew Killham said. “A takeaway I’ve had is don’t be afraid to try new things. Similar to improv, just try everything.”
Improv Club holds auditions for the team at the end of each year. To be one of the team members, an individual has to be in Improv Club for one year.
