On Friday, Sept. 27, Lincoln Southwest will hold their Homecoming football game and dance. 

The football game will be at 4:30 p.m. against North Platte at Seacrest. The theme of the game is jersey. At halftime of the game the Homecoming Court will walk out onto the field and be introduced. 

“I think that we should win the game tonight,” varsity football player senior Dane Gebers said. “I’m excited for the game it should be a fun game.”

After the game at 8:00 p.m. the dance will start. The theme of the dance is Welcome to Paradise. Students have to bring their ID and dance ticket. Students have to be at the dance by 9:00. 

“I’m excited for Homecoming because I get to be with my friends,” junior Natalie Ellis said. “I like dancing and having fun with my friends, especially when the music is good.”

At the end of first block students will head down to the main gym for the Homecoming pep rally. The Homecoming Court will be introduced in front of the school.
