Third term parent-teacher conferences are on Tuesday, Feb. 13. At home conferences, when teachers call home to specific parents, begin at 4 p.m. and end at 5 p.m. While in-person conferences at Lincoln Southwest are from 5 – 7 p.m. 

“Parent teacher conferences will be held in the same format as previous years,” executive secretary Mrs. Abigail Traynowicz said. “Four to five p.m. will be targeted outreach toward specific parents, and then we do in person conferences, first come first serve.”

LSW staff use parent teacher conferences as time to connect with parents with schedules that don’t allow them to meet during the school year. 

“I think it’s good to set aside time, specifically when we’re available to parents,” French teacher Mrs. Rebecca Christenson said. “If the time when we’re reaching out to them isn’t convenient to them, they have an opportunity to initiate that contact with us.”

Parent teacher conferences continue quarterly throughout the year, and fourth term conferences will be held Wednesday, April 10, from 4 – 7 p.m.
