With the start of the new semester, current students are able to complete their course request on their StudentVue between Jan. 7-Feb. 9.

Registration can be accessed online on any computer. Keep in mind that it will not work on students’ phones.

Students are encouraged to consider their 4-year plan and consider what credits are still needed to qualify for graduation.

“I coordinate with a lot of my friends based on what they are doing with registration,” junior Anna Synya said. “But you don’t have to do that, and I think a lot of underclassman don’t know that.”

Completed and uncompleted credits can be accessed on StudentVue under the Course History tab. Eighty credits are needed for a full schedule and is required for incoming freshmen and sophomores.

“Sign up for everything you think you’re going to want,” counselor Mr. Tim Ernst said. “There’s not a whole lot of room in August when students try to make major changes, so fill your schedule up with 80 credits and we can adjust from there.”

If you still have questions, be sure to visit your counselor for more help deciding what classes are a good fit for you and your future plans and goals.

“A counselor came into our civics class and talk to us about it so that made it a lot easier,” freshman Darby Pankoke said. “Register for classes you think you’re capable of.”

For additional assistance with the physical registration, counselors will be at help sessions in the library media center during PLC time on Tuesdays in January. Another great resource is the LSW website. Click here to read more specific information regarding registration.
