The deadline for ordering caps and gowns is Monday, May 16, and a $20 fee has been tacked on at checkout for those who haven’t ordered prior to March 2. Students must order online due to Covid-19 restrictions.

To order your items for graduation, go to the signature graduation website. Included in the basic package order is a cap, gown and tassel for $52.95. The tassel is silver, dark and green with a year emblem. The cap and gown is a dark green shade. Extra items such as graduation labels and cards can be included in upgraded packages for an added cost. 

“It was the right size, and I liked the shade of green,” senior Camille Vance said. “Tassel was a nice shade of silver, and the quality was up to cost.”

For those with free or reduced plans, students may go to the front desk to order cap and gown items with no cost. Students should fill out a fee waiver form before ordering their caps and gowns, otherwise the costs will not be reduced. 

Orders will arrive in around 7-10 days, and shipping information will be emailed. 

“I think the quality of the cap and gown represents the hard work needed to graduate,” Mark Novotny said. “I think that the cap and gown is important because it’s the gateway to opening up a new chapter in life.”
