Tickets for Southwest’s winter play “A Christmas Story” went on sale on Monday, Nov. 6. Tickets can be purchased online at www.showtix4u.com. Student tickets are $8 and adult tickets are $10.
“This is similar to a lot of my theater experiences except that we are moving a bit more quickly through the process. We are blocking multiple scenes at a pretty fast pace,” freshman cast member Keegan Brester, (Randy) said. “I think it’s a really good experience and I like it at a bit more fast pace.”
This isn’t the first time Southwest has done this play. Over the years that Southwest Theatre has been around “A Christmas Story” has set the stage three times.
“I’m really looking forward to ‘A Christmas Story’ because it’s a Christmas show that really makes the holidays feel more special,” senior Sophie Belka, (Mother) said. “I’m excited for people to see the show.”
This production will be showcased on Thursday, Dec. 7 at 7:00 p.m., Friday, Dec. 8 at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 9 at 2:00 p.m., and another show at 7:00 p.m. The final show will conclude on Sunday, Dec. 10 at 2 p.m.
