The senior photo deadline has been extended to Friday, Nov 8. If you don’t get it in your ID photo will be used in the yearbook.

The deadline for turning in your senior photos has been extended an extra week. The new deadline will be Friday, Nov 8. If you don’t turn in your picture by the deadline then your ID photo will be used.

“We extended the deadline because this is a busy time of year and i recognize that seniors have a lot on their plates,” Journalism teacher Brandi Benson said. “We want to maximize the amount of photos we get turned in.”

When you upload your senior picture you will need to make sure it follows all the guidelines. To upload it first make sure it is cropped and resized to a “2 X 3” photo then save as high resolution at 225 dpi in JPEG format. Name the file with the person’s name (ex: last_first.jpg). Then you will need to visit http://www.lps.org/apps/yearbookupload and enter the student’s first name, last name and select their school. Finally select the digital file on your computer and submit the form. Make sure to get your photos in by the new deadline if you want a picture other than your ID photo in the yearbook.

“ I think that the deadline was fine at first but it’s nice that they’re giving people more time,” senior Jacob Sprague said. “I think that the deadline is manageable but people are busy and things can slip their minds.”

When you submit it you won’t get a confirmation email telling you that it was turned in. However once you submit it there will be a little green bar at the top that tells you your image was uploaded. Make sure to get your photos in by the new deadline if you want a picture other than your ID photo in the yearbook.
