“When we played East, I felt like we played really well together as a team,” sophomore Liz Tomlin said. “We did a lot of preparing for Pius X, but, sadly things didn’t work out.”

For the semifinal, they geared up to play Lincoln Pius X. The Hawks ended up losing to Pius X in three sets. Pius X won the first set 25-23 the second 25-26 and the third 25-8.

“I don’t think we played as well as we have in the past playing Pius X,” senior Jaden Ferguson said. “We will bring our all tomorrow to beat Southeast.”

The Hawks will be playing tonight for third place. The game is at Southeast at 5:00 p.m against Southeast

“We swept Southeast last time we played them,” coach Mark Novotny said. “We will definitely have the upper hand as long as we come together as a team.”
