Spring will be put on pause again as 1-3 inches of snow is scheduled for the morning and afternoon of Thursday, March 10.

There is a 90 percent chance of snow falling the night leading into Friday. Thursday and Friday are scheduled to be finals days. If they were to become snowdays, the schedule would change.

“Thursday we can have a backup plan in place to do all finals on Friday (if school is canceled),” principal John Matzen said. “If school were to close on Friday, then most likely finals would have to be moved to the Monday after Spring Break.”

There is currently no snow scheduled for Friday and instead is expected to be partly sunny with clouds.

“I wish there was snow all throughout winter but not during finals week. I really don’t want to have all my finals on Friday or the Monday after Spring Break,” freshman Mackenzie Bolton said. “I’m excited but terrified, I don’t think school will get canceled from the snow but I definitely hope it doesn’t.”

There does not need to be a set amount of snow for school to be canceled. If conditions are deemed too dangerous for students, a snow day will be called.
