JV softball swept the game against Lincoln High 12- 0. They played at Doris Bair Complex on Thursday, Sept. 26.  

Throughout the game they threw words of encouragement at each other keeping a positive character. 

“I love my team,” sophomore Kate Gansmer said. “It’s so much fun, all the girls work super hard. It’s just a fun atmosphere to be in.”

The Hawks saw some losses this season against Kearney in a doubleheader game and Fremont, but nevertheless they persisted through and saw major improvements in their game play.

“I think we’re doing better,” sophomore Krystal Rivera said. “We’re working better as a team because, at the beginning, no one knew how to play together. It’s easier now because we know each other.”

Their next game falls on Monday, Sept. 30 where they will be playing against Norris at Norris High School.
