On Tuesday Sept. 12 Apple launched their new phones the XS, XS Max and the XR.

According to The Verge the new phones come with some new features. All of them have Apple’s new bionic processor. It is a CPU (central processing unit) that helps the phones run quickly. They also have a 7 nanometer chip that Apple claims is major progress for smartphones. The phones also have new camera sensors and new liquid retina displays.

“For Instagram pictures, I like better photo quality,” sophomore Diego Hernandez said. “This phone has that to offer and I’m excited for it.”

The iPhone XS Max has the biggest screen out all of the phones Apple has out so far. Its height is 6.2 inches and its width is 3.05 inches. It’s also the priciest phone yet priced at $1,100, topping the iPhone X which was priced at $1,000. The XS Max is set to release Sept. 21. The iphone XR will cost around $750 and will be released to the people on Oct. 26.

“I hadn’t heard about the launch until today,” sophomore Natalie Ellis said. “$1,100 seems like a lot but I don’t have an iPhone so it might be worth it.”

Along with the phones Apple launched they also plan to bring out an all new Apple Watch Series 4.
