Bolt For LSW’s Fall Play Frankenstein!

 

Lincoln Southwest will be doing “Frankenstein” for the fall play. It will be running Thursday, Sept. 27 and 28 at 7:00 P.M. There will be a matinee on Sept. 30 at 2:00 P.M.

 

This will be the the first production of the 17th season, celebrating the 100th anniversary of Mary Shelley’s novel, “Frankenstein.” There are over 100 Lincoln Southwest students participating.

 

Auditions were held the second week of school, with the cast list going up in the middle of the week. Cast and Crew had 24 hours to sign off on the production. The on stage cast will consist of 17 people. Senior Hayden Fuelberth will be playing the role of Victor Frankenstein.

 

“I’ve been doing theatre since I was a freshman,” Fuelberth said. “I can’t wait to create a monster.”

 

Backstage students will be working behind the scenes. Moving set pieces into place, and queuing up the music. Ashley Walker will be stage managing the crew.

 

“We are getting a lot of things for the lab scene’s,” Walker said “There are going to be a lot of cool special effects.”

 

Tickets for Frankenstein are available Aug. 27, $10 for adults, $8 for students.
